GEIA Town Hall & Emissions Sessions at AGU 2013 Fall Meeting

AGU Fall Meeting

More than 24,000 Earth and space scientists, educators, students, and other leaders met in San Francisco, California, 9-13 December, for the American Geophysical Union’s 46th annual Fall Meeting.

GEIA organized a Town Hall on Emissions Information Exchange – An Interactive Dialogue on Progress & Priorities

Thursday December 12, 2013
6:15-7:15 pm
Room 2005 (Moscone West)
Greg Frost led an interactive discussion of the next decade’s emissions challenges and priorities in research, assessment, regulation, operations and policy. Approximately 20 scientists shared their ideas and expertise with a growing community working to advance the scientific basis of emissions and learned about GEIA’s new vision for improved emissions data access, analysis, and communications.

The following sessions at the meeting featured hundreds of presentations on emissions. See http://fallmeeting.agu.org/2013 for more details.
